Gay Art Michael Breyette – “Jocks”
21 July, 2010
“Jock” is one of the few words in the English language, that through its numerous meanings, almost universally conjures arousing imagery in the minds of gay man. For almost 200 years it was slang for penis. Today it’s used to describe buff and brawny athletes as well as guys with an excessive concern for machismo. Of course it’s also the shortened version of “jockstrap”, that fetishistic 1860s invention, that oddly enough, was originally intended to provide a bit of modesty for men, to be worn under swim wear.
